Here we represent a one more example of dirty intentions from the side of so-called heathen scene, pretending to look as example of decency, honesty, pride and principles. We got the message from ukrainian label "fog music" which plans in nearest time to edit project VETCHE on CD. VETCHE was planned as a one-time meeting of LUCIFUGUM and nokturnal mortum, whose result was a recording one album of a ritual-intuitive music. It happened in 1997 l.t. in Zhitomir, in home studio of Khlyst (Igor Naumchuk, the leader of LUCIFUGUM (the only one who has remained from the original line-up) and who also was the co-owner of oriana prod. that time). The project members planned it as an exclusively symbol of spiritual unity of "Black Brotherhood", community which was powerful that time (as it known, the community has stopped its existence after LUCIFUGUM left it). The first edition of tape version and its further spreading was provided directly by Khlyst, then there was a re-edition on oriana prod. Later LUCIFUGUM refused of some offers concerning CD version for the reason of a principle: "Black Brotherhood" was dead, and all further re-editions of VETCHE became inexpedient. In other case, it could be described only as an absence of any principles except the principle of exclusively money profit. Now, 12 years later, there are those who wish to earn money on speculation with names. As it became known to us, varggoth (nokturnal mortum) has taken the direct part in helping this shameful re-edition to appear today. Since the original master with recording always belonged to Khlyst, for disc pressing there was used a copy recorded from the usual home cassete and re-mastered then. So, varggoth represented this copy "fog music" as original master, though looking at further events, the origin of record, as well as varggoth's competence were indifferent to a label. |
We were informed that all nokturnal mortum members have already given their consent for this CD edition. It was the frank lie because the former nokturnal mortum members, who left the group due to varggoth's dishonesty, could not give such consent. But even if all nokturnal mortum members could do this, LUCIFUGUM members never could humiliate themselves with such shameful consent. The band strictly follows the chosen way, which has nothing in common with compromises, weakness, thirst of fame and profit. It's also necessary to say, that LUCIFUGUM's consent was asked just after release already was in printing. After Khlyst has refused of the label's offer in a categorical manner, the behaviour of "fog music" immediately has become very stupid and absolutely inadequate. As a main argument in favour of nokturnal mortum there was represented the following idiocy: VETCHE was recorded on equipment belonged to nokturnal mortum. May be, vargoth owns some immovable property in Zhitomir... But in this certain case, the record equipment was rented by Khlyst at company "Kinoekran", as well as Khlyst did many times when arranged in Zhitomir live actions "Avelista". But it's not a question of "who is the boxes owner". It's a question of dishonesty and clown's behaviour of "fog music", but not of individual participation of all project creators. It's a question of Honour: LUCIFUGUM have openly spat aside nokturnal mortum after the last ones have accepted the light side of existence. nokturnal mortum with their consent for this edition showed that still spiritually close with LUCIFUGUM. But it's a lie! There is no unity for a long time, and every sober-minded one must understand it. There is the only reason left - commercial profit, the wish of earning money on this carrion. Join their herd, they say they're the future. LUCIFUGUM declares this future
release not just a bootleg, but a shameful symbol of greed, hypocrisy
and absence of principles. |
