Arggon answering...
• 2002 is the year of foundation of the band. A relative balance of two zero, compressed by a principle of dualism - disagreement, opposition. What especial do you remember about that time? What you have chosen is realized and well thought-out or something incomprehensible had pushed/attracted you? And yes, why do the band use the christian chronology (year's counter) without any perversion?
"Everything was done under severe influences back then, leading our souls like an undiscribable attraction towards His lights that reflected not only the blackness which lied in our heart but the common desire that animated both of us to destroy and to corrupt the gift of life through the audial pain entity known as INSANE VESPER... I hardly remember our very beggining as a "band" as it is in its actual form because of the inconsistance of the numerous line-up I tried to set up in the early days... but we never acted randomly as we already had very precise ideas about what to do and by the way what we were able to do. We first took our time to correctly handle our instruments then things became more interesting, musically speaking of course... We started to record some materials, which were almost kept for ourselves due to a poor sound quality and we began to play live occasionaly in France and Belgium... Later things started to get impossible amongst the other bandmates and I decided to put the band on ice for a short period. The most important part of the curriculum of INSANE VESPER shaped lately when I finally gather the actual line-up with devoted musicans, also long time knowledges of myself, and talented enough to make the entity reach another level being aswell musical and spiritual. I don't care about the year's counter, it has no meaning for us... Everything is a matter of time, and time is the matter of death, upon his will..."
• INSANE VESPER is a live band. Are you still not disappointed in all this? It's a tradition among the musicians to talk about certain energy etc. But many of them understand that gigs is just the way to have a "cool" time, also for well-known bands it's just a job.
"I personally do not consider INSANE VESPER as a "live band" nor as a "studio band". You are maybe reffering to the fact we've done some couple gigs few years ago but it was to insignificant for me that it is no not necessary to be mentioned. By the way we plan to make some new live appearance maybe in 2008 once again with a complete line-up. I won't explain myself why we "play" live but we feel it necessary as long as it satisfy ourselves..."
Personally I'm the opponent of identification of this or that band through the comparison with more known "colleagues". It reminds the sport competitions or bureaucratic ranks. But much more important is that Satanic Black Metal band must have a necessary arrogance. In your bio you draw the analogies with old Dissection and old Mayhem. Is this a question of exclusively musical aspect? A step towards the listener is a compromise, isn't it?
"Definitely not musical only but I understand what you mean, in fact our art is not very close on the strict musical point of view to the bands mentionned above... Just check our lyrics and make your own opinion about that, by the way "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" and "Storms of the light's bane" are still my 2 major musical influences... Instead of talking of arrogance I prefer to talk about egoïsm and superiority as our art only reflects what we are and will forever be and by that we glorify our lord through strenght and contempt..."
• Does INSANE VESPER feel itself the part of any "scene"? What does it mean to be Satanic Black Metal band from France? Having the
possibility to observe the streams of listener's interest, I can draw a conclusion: nowadays speculations on a theme of these clown's "black legions" can attract to INSANE VESPER first of all the listener-sheep which is interested in rumours/scandals instead of Art. The thinking listener can stand aside. Do those who listen to INSANE VESPER interest you? No, not their opinion about your music, but spiritual potential of the listener?
"We don't feel being a part of any scene and we don't want to belong to anything of that sort, we prefer to avoid parasites and so on and everything bounded to that... Being from France has not very much importance... Whoever listen to INSANE VESPER has neither much importance, I think every listener can make his own idea concerning our musical work but the keys lies in the hands of the strong... May his radiance enlighten the chosen ones and definitely blind the sheeps... The path of his revelation is still a long way to go, leading the victorious to the path of salvation and illumination..."
• Who was the initiator of 3 way split tape? You think you have enough in common with these two bands to be three-faced one? (it's a question of INSANE VESPER/ISTIDRAI/IRON FIST split tape - PROPAGANDA note)
"It was a long time project initiated by myself and Ian Inferno of Istidraj whom I dial up with for some years by now. This is not our most representative work regarding the fact it only contains songs that were not supposed to be released in first intention. That release was in a sort an interesting opportunity for us to show that we were not yet buried but still active as a full-piece act."
• It's an ungrateful thing to talk about the lyrics but anyway... In your certain case are these the impulses, visions which you still have to cognize? Or this is something already shaped which will never change? Is control of own life the program-maximum for a Satanist?
"I've never writen any lyrics without an especial impulsion, it must emerges to me like a "vision" or it just never come... In their primal form, the lyrics are merely unreadable and their meaning is not really clear thus I need to rework some sentences while keeping the sense of the initial intention of course... Some are still mysterious to me and it take some time for me to fully understand their meaning considering the fact that I just never "shaped" a single line before writing, by the way I simply consider all of this as the "revelation" along the faith he inspires us through us..."
• But if you meet an absolutely empty for you vision, would you perceive it as a "revelation"? Or you try to give a sense to all things/conditions?
"What I call a vision is something to much unclear either for myself that it takes a lot of time to give the first fruits of an interpretation. By the way I can provide you various answers to your question considering the fact if you talk about a strictly empty vision, which has to be clear really no sense at all, or if you talk about a vision of emptiness which is by far the most closer aspect to my thought I'd like to focus on. I do not try to give a sense to all things but merely all the keys are lying in our bare hands and mind, every single act has it own signification, being magical or physical... I won't get into details, just open your eyes and receive the majestuous radiance of his shining truth..."
• Your attitude to side-projects? Someone will tell - many-sided talent, but I will tell - deficiency of a indivisible whole/single aspirations.
"By my side I prefer concentrate on one single project but I have no problems with side projects, I can understand the fact that people want to try making different musical experiences as long as it serves a precise same achievement. I do not see any interest into making a so called "satanic" band while playing on a "pagan" or "politic" oriented band at the same time, that is not even a lack of talent but just stupidity..."
• Such modern parasite as myspace is not alien to the band. You think all ways of a goal achievement are good? But all degenerative content of myspace is an insult of this goal, isn't it?
"I just prefered to create my own page, to have a total control on it before seeing bootleg undedicated shits there an there, it is the most reliable source of information concerning INSANE VESPER. I won't debate on how pathetic myspace and everything bounded to that is, it doesn't interferate with our "goals" nor with our art, it's just another tool you throw out after using..."
What do you do in your usual life? Do you take care about your future: family, children, career?

"My personal life does concern only myself..."

• I didn't ask about the details of your personal life, but wanted to know if you plan your future as a future of a member of society.
"I'm definitely out of the society, I just live the way I want and I just don't care about what's happening all around myself... How boring and predictable..."
• Is it important for you how you will die?
"Life IS the preparation to death... To control it is a luxe granted to very few people, those who can accept their miserable destiny and finally the inevitable sentence can be considered as the chosen ones... Experience death through this pathetic existence and elevate your soul to the mightiest spheres of his uncreation. The way we die is maybe the most important thing happening to the very end, the only power every people has upon his self, the choice of your own death is the ultimate act of freedom and the most powerful by far... Destroy the gift of your own life in the highest state of your existence being the strongest and healthiest before being destroyed patheticaly of illness and so on... Keep the power of your soul at peak and glorify through your own death the grandeur of his majesty..."
